Hi Vipul,
thanks for the greate overview!
One question. Can you consume with Smart Business Cockpit also HANA XS Views? And is it possible to consume both, CDS and HANA Views with Smart Business Cockpit?

I am using SAP CLOUD trial account(Neo).
In SAP HANA SERVICE , I created a calculation view and top of that i created an xsodata.
Now i enabled SAP SMART BUSINESS HUB in my cloud services and tried to create my first KPI there.
When i tried to attach data source and give my whole xsodata url, its not showing entities related to that xsodata, i tried creating destination as well but still no luck, can you help me with this and let me know what step i am missing so that it will show up my entities.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

Well, it turned out to be a role issue. I see the tile now, however, none of the KPI tiles are loaded. Checking that right now.

The oData services may be missing or system alias is not provided or the sicf nodes are not activated for the tile chips please check that once.

Thanks Smriti Gupta.
It is not Mandatory but According to Best Practice it good to declare Annotations as per need because Step 3 Will get all the records with No of Rejection Count Column in that CDS View So we can Achieve Our Requirement.Rest We can also Proceed with different approach as per our Logic.(Queries are usually built on top of #CUBE, where data is replicated from facts which Contains Measure and Dimensions)
